A LIFE WORTH RESCUING

"A Life Worth Rescuing" is a poignant look at the heart of the current animal welfare crisis, shining a light on organizations and individuals dedicated to ending pet homelessness and improving the lives of dogs, cats, and their human companions.

This stirring documentary weaves together the daily heroics, life-saving efforts, and support of numerous shelters, rescues, and organizations like the BISSELL Pet Foundation, Humane World for Animals (formerly The Humane Society of the United States), Dogs of the MDOC, Detroit Dog Rescue, Hearts of Hope, Race for Life Rescue, and many more.

While the film highlights the important work of these organizations and individuals, its heart belongs to the animals, as told through personal stories of rescue, recovery, and hope. 

 

"A Life Worth Rescuing" is a tribute to human compassion and the unbreakable spirit of animals in need of love and a second chance.

Filming is currently underway, with completion scheduled for late 2027.
